ESFERAS DE INFANCIA.

Esferas de infancia explores the tension between protection and autonomy during childhood. The sphere appears as shelter, boundary and container: a structure that protects while simultaneously defining the limits within which the child can exist. Each work bears the name of a child from my daughters’ close circle during their early childhood. Over time, the sphere itself changes, opening, fragmenting or even disappearing, while the question remains: where does protection end and autonomy begin?
